Week 2: Planning

Planning Your Swede:

This week you will be planning your own Swede and creating a pitch to present to the class in the first lesson of next week.

Your Swede will last between 2-3 minutes and follow the codes and conventions you have discovered in your research.

When planning your film idea remember these films will be filmed on college grounds and in class time over the course of 2 lessons.

Task 1:

Think of an idea for a Swede you will create.
Decide on the film you are going to "Swede" and the scenes you are going to focus on.

Task 2:

Create a script for this Swede. This can use elements of dialogue from the original film, but should also contain some comic twists of your own.

Task 3:

Create a storyboard for this Swede. This storyboard should map out all the shots you want to use in the film, state how long these shots last and indicate where you want the edits to be.

Task 4:

Create a brief list of props you may use in your film (remember these should be cheap and have a low budget feel to them)

Task 5:

Create a 1-2 minute pitch for your Swede idea. This will be presented to the class on the first lesson back next week (Monday 13th/Tuesday 14th)

You will then vote on the films you want to be made, based on the pitches you have seen. The films with the most votes will be put into production next week.
